In the 19thcentury, such landscapes attracted to Clohars and particularly to Le Pouldu, painters today famous. The most illustrious of them, Paul Gauguin, spent time at Marie Henry, boss of the beach bar. Now, the House Marie Henry, reconstruction of the house where lived Paul Gauguin and his friends, allows you to plunge into the daily life of the painters when they came to get fresh ideas in Pouldu. |
